This lovely boy is Nico! He is a 1 year old neutered male Pitbull mix that weighs 55lbs. He came into Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/11 as a stray. If he was my lost pup I would rush to the shelter to reclaim him. He has such a gentle, kind soul with a big smile all the time. He enjoys being petted, hugged and given kisses. Nico puts his hands in my lap to cuddle close and you cannot help to notice his shiny coat. He walks well on a leash and takes treats very gently. While out in the shelter yard he enjoyed investigating all the smells and would chase balls but did not bring them back. Walking past the other dogs in the shelter he did not show any interest, but if there is another dog in the home, please ask the shelter for a dog test. He hopes he can find his own loving family where he has a secured backyard to enjoy, but live indoors enjoying cuddling close or snoring the nights away on his own dog bed. Come meet Nico, as he will bring a smile to your face!
